Purpose
We have an interest in the spiritual needs of the children of our community. To help meet those needs, we offer a variety of activities designed to point them to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ and to help them grow in their Christian life.
Ages
Our programs and activities are open to all children from elementary through high school. We tailor our ministry to the children according their age and abilities.
Activities
Every week we offer Sunday school classes for all ages. They are taught by qualified teachers who take an interest in the spiritual needs of each child. In addition, during the morning worship service, we provide a separate activity for the children who are too old for the nursery but not quite ready for the adult service. Junior Church is a time of spiritual instruction that helps them grow in their understanding of church and worship. In July, our Vacation Bible School ministers to children in grades K-6. The program consists of five mornings of Bible stories, games, crafts, and snacks. Also during the summer, we take our teenagers to a Christian camp. This is a tremendous opportunity for them to receive spiritual instruction and encouragement far from the distractions of their normal routine. In this relaxed setting, they are often more responsive to the preaching of the Word of God. Many make life-changing decisions during this week away from home.
