Philosophy of Missions
The New Testament clearly commands the church of Jesus Christ to take the good news of the Gospel to all people (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15; and Acts 1:8). Including those who are both near and far, we are to witness to those across the street as well as those across the seas. Given the fact that most Christians are not called to go as missionaries to foreign lands, we believe God would have us support those who are called to this ministry with our prayers and gifts. Beyond our scriptural duty to support such ministries, it is also our privilege to have a part in their work and to rejoice in their victories.
